As a side note, he talks about the dreaded thumb drive. I've found that micro SD cards are much easier to hide, and destroy in necessary, that can be slid into a USB style card reader…also very small. They have the memory of a moderate size hard drive (into the half a TB range).
To add a small amount of anonymity to your computer presence, you can create a persistent thumb drive or micro SD card with the Tails OS. Basically, it's a portable operating system that leaves no traces of itself or searches on the host computer. https://tails.boum.org/about/index.en.html
